Eliminator Filter

Lone Star Aviation has a Solution for aircraft electronic noise problems! Silence annoying alternator whine, strobe and rotating beacon noise, and other sources of electronic noise with the installation of our Alternator filter and/or the Eliminator power line filter. There is no better power line conditioner or noise suppresser currently on the market than the Eliminator power line filter. Although it is packaged in a square metal enclosure and looks similar to other noise suppression filters, the similarities stop with appearances.

This filter utilizes capacitance and inductance allowing only straight line DC to power sensitive onboard electronics. Low frequency audible noise is best reduced or eliminated by inductance. Since the Eliminator utilizes inductance and capacitance a wider frequency range of electronic noise can be minimized or eliminated. The Eliminator has been successful in the elimination of power line noise that affects the operation of Radar, StrikeFinders and Storm Scopes.

The Eliminators surge suppression characteristics can also protect onboard aircraft electronics from power surges and spikes. The possibilities for applying the Eliminator are endless. When you suspect power line noise problems consider the Eliminator as a solution. The Eliminator is rated at 10amps and 32 VDC and can be easily installed at the effected component or if applicable at the source of the noise. Since the entire aircraft bus line is not passing through our filter, important component redundancy is achieved.

We had a significant noise issue showing up on an airborne computer display. After investigating, it turned out that the noise we were seeing was coming over the power line, induced by the DC cooling fan mounted on the computer's ARINC tray. During troubleshooting, we tried installing this filter across the computer power line. It dramatically reduced the observed noise. btw, I accidentally rated it at 2 of 5 stars - I actually would rate it at 5 stars. Good job Lone Star!

I fly a 1978 Cessna 172N. Almost all small aircraft have some noise that winds up in the headsets.
I recently installed the lonestar eliminator. With no word of a lie the result was almost scary. I have a lightspeed zulu with ANR. That combined with the eliminator resulted in absolutely no noise whatsoever. I listen to music while I fly and the eliminator took out any and all static and noise.
The technicians at Lonestar were very helpful and more than williing to help.
If you've got any noise, this is the answer.
