The Commander 2000K GPS Control Station arrived several days after we spoke on the phone.

I have used the docking station to train an Instrument Pilot candidate and he knew more about the GPS and GPS procedures than the Designated Pilot Examiner. I expect to be training another Instrument Pilot candidate very soon and I expect that I will buy the system.

To say that the system is an aid to learning both GPS navigation and more specifically, GPS approaches in the JFR environment is an understatement at best.

As the 1999 National Flight Instructor of the Year, I can say that the Commander 2000K has added immeasurably to my teaching. I recommend that anybody serious about GPS operations obtain your GPS Station and learn the GPS system in the comfort of a desk top instead of the airplane.
